any resemblance to actual persons or events in your life means you're an extremely strange individual.
I opened formspring this noon and I ran out of question to answer so I decided to ask myself a question.
No, it does not mean that I answer my own question; it means that I asked the computer to generate a question for me to answer.
One of the questions asked about “who is the best teacher I have ever had?”
After a few seconds I came up with an answer:
Miss Dila!
HERE’S MY STORY
When I was in the 3rd grade my English score was so baaad that I need to join an English course
I live in BSD and I have several choices (like Eloquency, EF, LIA, etc.) but my mom told me to get into this ILP course.
It is located behind ITC BSD, which is close to my house.
So I studied there and I really learn lots of new things!
I made friends and we grow older.
Some of those friends were really close to me. Firli, for example.
One time when I was in upper elementary,
I have a class with some cool friends:
Fariz, Azizah, Me, Astrid, Adit, Dita, Nissa, Raka, and some others.
I really love those friends and I even have a crush on one of them ;)
A BIG, big crush
Hahaha
Anyway
One time when we pass a level we were assigned to a new class with a new teacher
It was Ms. Dila.
I really remember her, and we love her!
She was soooo close to us
She way young, lively, hilarious, fun, and she’s reaaaaally beautiful
She is the principal’s cousin or something (The principal at that time was Mr. Wiku Respati)
She has 6th sense and she often shares her stories with us. I remember that one time when she told us about the elevator ghost which she ‘met’ when she went to Bali. It was terrifying!
She ‘s studying at UI, and she still is. (I think) she’s majoring in English Literature.
Oh, and I really remember her signature!
It was deelju
She said that because there were two Dilas at UI, her friends made a nickname for her and she was called deelju (as her last name is Hadju)
She can make identical signatures. I mean, the ones she wrote at home and at course was totally the same! All of us were impressed.
We didn’t even feel study-like atmosph
ere with her and her English was just so good and her pronunciation was awesome as she lived in foreign country for some times. I love her!
But unfortunately time flies and we finished the term.
The next term, she no longer teaches us. She doesn’t even teach at ILP again.
She continued her study, yada yada yada.
But fortunately, when I was taking TOEFL class at ILP (2008), we met again! She begin teaching again in ILP.
I want to say hi to her but I was shy and I’m not really sure that it was her, but I remember her face well and one time when I was leaving my class to go home, she entered that class and asked me if I were her student. I said yes and we said hi. It was the last time we said hi to each other because I no longer go to ILP because I have finished my study. But I’m glad she remembered me!
This noon when I was asked that best-teacher question and her image popped out in my mind, I felt that I really miss her; I miss all the time we had spent together. So, I search for her name at facebook.
Thanks for her easy-to-rememb
er signature I remember her full name: Dila Hadju.
I found her facebook and I added her.
I viewed her profile and I know she have a great life now.
And on the relationship status, believe it or not, I see that she’s in a relationship with Rayi Putra which is one of RAN’s personnel. I don’t think it’s an hoax, I believe in her :D
I miss the times we had spent together, all the times we tell stories to each other instead of just studying, the break time we spent talking to her in our classroom, the times when we talked about those boys in our class, the time when we think her drawing was funny, aaa <3
But unfortunately, life goes on. We can’t stop the time and we get older day by day. We learn from our mistakes and become more mature. We go to different places and we make new friends. Then we grow old with them, until it is time to walk away.
I know there’s still a loooooooooooooo
oooooong looong road in front of me that I have to pass
I will meet plenty wonderful peoples in my life so there’s nothing to be sad of!
I will make a lot of good memories with my new friends so there’s nothing to be regretted.
I just have to keep the pace, keep on walking.
Hello Miss Dila, and goodbye
Thanks for all the things you told me, all the memories we made together.
You may not remember me as clear as I remember you, but really I want to talk to you, even for one time only :D
I know you’ll be sooooooooo cool now! Ah! I’m envious of those children you teach now at ILP! It must have been so fun! Zzz
